Is this ham radio a good one? Will this satisfied my handheld needs for years to come or am I going to regret for buying this because of some missing features. Please help. Am a new technician ham. Thanks. Any other recommendations?
Hey Dan, congratulations on getting your ticket. I have owned two Yaesu radios and to this day they both still function fine. They are over 15 years old. One is a 2 meter mobile and the other a HF Transceiver. Couldn't be happier. I am not familiar with the VX-7R, but I trust the manufacturer product. You might get on some of the Ham Radio forums and ask around about it. Enjoy. 73's
