Am looking around and it seems that wireless g over laps the band?
its this right? or am i seeing it wrong? if am right i would ligaly be able to run amps, antanns......
There is overlap and you can use full amateur privileges in those areas, with the provision that full ID requirements and other legal requirements are met. There have been several articles in QST about hams doing exactly that, BUT keep in mind at those frequencies, Power is relatively inconsequential, path is everything. If you don't have line of sight, all the power in the world won't help. Good antennas are all ways better since they amplify both transmitted and receive signals. Transmission line losses are tremendous so most transceivers are mounted right at the feed point. and of course a valid Ham license is needed!
