can i get ticketed for speeding by and off duty cop that didn't pull me over?
Me and my friend were behind two cars on a side road, we were in a hurry so we decided to pass them. It was in a no passing zone, double pass, and speeding. The first car followed us after we passed. We ran a stop sign trying to get away from them but they followed. I looked back and he was speaking in a walky talky so we guessed he was an off duty cop. So my question is if he was an off duty cop if he could ticket us even though he didn't pull us over.
It doesn't matter if he decides to ticket you or not.
Driving like that (crossing a double line, speeding, running a stop sign), you'll be dead before you have to appear in court anyway.
