BC145XL Scanner Question?
I just bought a BC145XL at a yard sale and i have some questions about it. Does anyone know where to find the manual, and what is the anteanna jack is it SMA, VHF, UHF i cant tell thanks.
The Uniden site (link below) doesn't have your scanner listed. For the most part the scanner would use one of two antenna connectors, a UHF screw on connector or a car radio type push in connector. I can't remember the name of the car type of connector right at this time. If the connector is about 1/2 inch or so in diameter with threads on the outside and has a center hole about 1/8 inch in diameter it's a UHF connector. If the connector is recessed into the scanner, has smooth sides and a center pin that goes in even deeper, it's one of the car radio types of connectors.
