Sony Wega Projection TV is staticy on local channels?
Hi, I have a sony wega projection television.. I have connected "basic cable" via the VHF/UHF input in the back, its weird cuz all the cable channels work great but the local channels are fuzzy and have static, how do i get rid of this?
the static is like a weird fuzz sound and theres a line between the screen and like you can see the next scene sh ow up .. like seeing double..
I am trying to connect basic cable (not antenna) to the VHF/UHF input.. and yes all the channels that dont work are below 13 whats weird is that they work sometimes not always..
also - it didnt do this before.
Are these LOCAL channels being sent to you from your Cable company or are you attempting to pick them up using a local antenna or the cable line as your LOCAL ANTENNA?
It's hard to figure out what you're doing with the Cable line....
But....if you get cable and your local channels are delivered by cable and they are the LOW channels BELOW channel 13, then you most likely have a bad VHF section in your Tuner and it needs replaced....
IF those channels are located between 13 and 22, then your Tuner needs replaced.....
IF they are all over the place.....then cable must have a problem with their equipment that's DEDICATED to recieving the LOCAL TV stations....
Yeah....they have dedicated equipment to recieve ONLY the local TV signals....
Then they have their national network feeds...
