What can I do to fix my wireless headphones?
I purchased a set of wireless headphones recently and they worked great at first. My computer is set up in the bedroom and I was able to roam all over the apartment and still listen to everything. About two weeks ago, they stopped working well. If I get more than about four feet away they either become really faint or I get this awful screeching sound. Sometimes I get nothing but static even when I am right near the computer and receiver. I am still able to listen to radio stations but that is not what I wanted to use them for. I also picked up the audio of a kid's cartoon recently, does this mean that one of my neighbors must have purchased a set that runs on the same frequency? I have no way to change the frequency of my set and I purchased them on sale so I am not able to return them. Is there any way to fix this?
You are getting interference from another device such as, Cordless phone, extension cords, etc...
Place the receiver as far away from all electronic devices & cords as possible.
If this dosent fix the problem , chances are thats why they were on sale.
