Adding Current or Voltage, which will magnify the signal or a radio transmitter?
I have a radio transmitter with a preset signal and a coil style antenna. I want to make the signal sent stronger; I figure I can add a larger antenna and increase the voltage or current. Which would make the signal stronger, more current or more voltage? If any of what I said is wrong, please correct me. Thank you.
you need to reconfigure the circuit to provide more amplification to the signal coming to the antenna, which in turn will cause more current to run through the antenna. you also have to make sure the circuit can handle the increased current. you may blow something.
