I need a hand portable VHF transceiver with SSB ?
Does anyone know of a hand portable VHF transceiver new or secondhand that offers SSB transmission as well as the usual FM. Must cover the UK 2 metre band 70 cms as well would be nice but not essential. Must have a detachable antenna for occasional use from home with a better antenna. Must be UK legal. Yes I do hold a UK license.
That's an interesting thought, but it strikes me as odd that some of these trends are fairly pointless in a statistical sense
