How to connect a subwoofer to receiver with no LFE?
I am buying this plate amp: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=300-806
I need to be able to connect my receiver to this, obviously, to get sound. The receiver does not have an LFE, or Pre-Amp outputs.
How would I go about attaching this?
Using speaker level input is not an option..
You need an amp that has speaker level inputs/outputs, you would run speaker wire out of your receivers L/R main speaker output into the sub amp then a set of L/R speakers wire back out to your main speakers. The subs crossover would use the low freq signals and pass the rest on to your speakers
