whut is the best fm antenna wire configuration?
i have 200 feet of wire, and i was wondering in which patterns i should put it in to get a basic omnidirectional antenna, and a basic directional antenna, and also, i have been experimenting with wire winding, it seems ot be a good fm transmitter antenna, but doesnt pick up that well, also, i was wondering if theres any circutry i could build to filter out the static and balance out the resistance of the antenna wire, its 18 guage sheilded speaker cable, got 2 packs of 50 foot rolls and split the two wires on each roll, soldered the end of one to the end of another and so on, untill i got 200 feet. and can the circuitry please be as simple as it gets, its for a small portable radio for work, since i work in the bush, its easy to wreak radios and such while at camp, but i do desire good radio reception on the kooteney mountain tops here in bc canada, single transistor schematics are preferred, thanx in advance
