well the risks of nuclear power is that if a nuclear power plants becomes unstable, the entire plant becomes a giant nuclear bomb. If you ever see a nuclear power plant bascially what they are doing is using uranium to split atoms creating power, you know what happens when you split an atom, it creates a large amount of energy which they harness and turn into electricity. if it becomes unstable...boom.
The risk of using radio isotopes is that workers are exposed to high levels of radiation, plus contamination of the environment, plus the need to comply with waste disposal regulations.
