Do you connect the Lightening Protection System conductors to the earthing of Radio equipment.?
I have a impression that connecting the earth conductors to a single point, raised a possibility that in case of lightening there is a danger that the sensitive receivers may get damaged. I want authantic information only.
Damage due to lightening strikes are caused by current passing THOUGH the equipment.
By bonding all internal equipment to one main ground point current can't flow from one point through to another.
This is of course a very simplified explanation that you should investigate thoroughly before making any hardware changes.
