XBOX 360 WITH RJ45 COUPLER HELP! please?
I have rearranged my basement where my xbox 360 is and now my ethernet cable is out of reach . i got an rj 45 coupler and put both cables in and it said that there was no connection. then i got a spare router i have and plugged in an ethernet cable in ther and ran it through the router.( but the router is faulty so i cant use it all the time.) so can anyone help with what i can do to fix this problem.
P.S. it is a snap in rj45 coupler i dont no if that has anything to do with is

I've had a similar problem with using couplers on Xboxes and xbox 360s. You could try and make sure that the coupler is designed for network use and not phone use. Second, you could buy an ethernet crossover cable. Sometimes couplers switch the pinout and using two normal straight-thru cables doesn't work.
Howver, your best bet would be to just get a longer network cable. Or talk to a friend who works with computers, they might be able to give you one as most IT places are practically swimming in network cable.
