Is there a way to hook up a wifi antenna to a laptop with wireless but without a jack?
I've heard of usb antenna's, but haven't seen able to find one. I have a Sony Vaio with an internal wireless card that doesn't have a jack to hook an additional antenna. Are there such things as usb antennas that do not come with an adapter (since I already have a wireless card). Or, do I need to replace my whole wireless card? Also, could I buy the wireless adapter and antenna and install it on my computer even though it has a built in wireless card? I really need to boost my laptop's singal.

look at bestbuy.com for antennas compatible with your computer.
my advice, tho, is to replace your wireless card. you can get a better one that will give you better signal without the hassle of dealing with a darn antenna. in my experience, they just get in the way.
