Western Digital Caviar Black RAID control drivers?
Where...the...hell... DO i get these drivers for Vista? My computer decided to take a dump on me for some reason and now i'm back to a wiped harddrive. And the disk that came with the HD... yeah, no drivers on there.
Please answer with something more intelligent than "Don't use Vista."
The drivers should be downloaded from the motherboard manufacturer. The hard drive brand is irrelevant...
This is an internal drive?
Do you actually run RAID? the minimum number of drives for RAID is 2; the data is striped across 2 drives in RAID0.
If it's only one drive, you do not need RAID enabled on yr motherboard and require AHCI SATA drivers, which should be incorporated onto the Windows Vista installation disk.
RAID drivers for onboard integrated RAID controllers can be downloaded from Intel/AMD/Nvidia.
