Connect Motorola c139 to a PC?
Hi. I was wondering what I need to hook up a Motorola c139 to my PC. I was hoping I could edit so thing about the firmware possibly, like the menu images or something..
I think it can be done, something to do with a cable that hooks into the headset port?
I'm not sure, please help me!

If you are not very careful with what you do with a MOD to the phone you can end up with a very expensive brick.
First First..you need to go to howardforums.com and READ,READ and then READ a bit more before you do anything. Most likely you will get pointed in the right direction on what you want to do and were to find the programs you need.
First you will need a data cable for your phone.
second you will need the USB drivers for the model you have(most times there is a lot of models covered with the same USB drivers)
you will also need a program to read the firmware of the phone ,there could be a program specific to your phone model like there can also be like a generic program that covers a bunch of them.
And then and always READ,READ and then READ some more,believe me it took me almost a yr before i attempted to do the first thing to my phone and that was one of those big old NEXTEL phones and let me tell you i screwed up 1 phone so bad by choosing the wrong settings that after i got another one thru the insurance they called me to ask again what had happened to the phone and how because they could not figure out how to refurbish . That's how bad i screw that phone.LOL
