Getting my General Class Ham Radio License ?
I am new to the world of amateur radio operations, and am getting my Tech and General license together next month. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good MOBILE radio for the freq set ill be on. And why do you recommend it.
A General license gives you some privileges everywhere.
The Yaesu 857D and 897D have almost all bands. 6M 2M 70cm.. on HF 10-160m.
The Icom 706 has the same frequency range.
Both have digital signal processors.
Both (or all 3) radios have good reviews.
