Ham Radio Tech Class Studying Material?
i REALLY want to get a Ham, but the ARRL Studybook it a little hard and overwhelming for me. dose anyone know a other source, book, program, or somthing that is easy to learn and step by step with quizes, workseets, or somthing that will help me understand the things i need to know to get my license?
Congratulations on wanting to become a ham radio operator
I know that arrl books can be a bear.
On the book front, I rather use the Gordon West/Fred Maia series of ham radio licensing books as they have the questions and the correct answer right underneath with a small explanation in easy terms about why it's the correct answer.

I haven't tried it personally, but the arrl offers a online course that is supposed to be 100% guaranteed. It's supposed to take you through the steps like they would in a ham radio class

Most I've met though, keep retaking the test online over and over again (these are practice quizes) and can be found for free at sites like

www.aa9pw.com
But if you still have questions, email me on here
