Ham radio: Is it possible to do long distance propagation on a handheld that can transmit on 6m and 1.25m....?
...under any circumstances? Even with a yagi? It not, how can I get the most out of my handheld- VX 7R?
The more predictable way to extend the range of a VX-7R would be you use a repeater, preferably a satellite, such as AO-51 or SO-50, or if you're into packet, relay them through the international space station.
