The ad for the antenna says it it pre-tuned. 34" long, open coil. thanks for the help.
I'd add a linear amplifier, around 7,000 watts. All the best cb'ers use 'em. Look for deals on eBay.
Oh, and an amplified microphone, too. It makes your signal go lots farther.
