Ham Radio Antenna Question?
I am thinking of getting a mobile ham radio for my car, but I would like to know which antennas are available that are smaller. I really don't want anything longer than a foot. Is a antenna like this even possible for a ham? Thanks.
I use a small dual band magnet mount antenna on one of my vehicles. It does pretty good. Was able to hit a 2m repeater that was 20 miles away using 10 watts.
