ham radio and 20 meters?
What frequency do most people monitor on 20 meters?
I have the band plans for 20 meters from the ARRL home page. The second link is the considerate operator's frequency guide.
If I recall, 14.275 is one to avoid, since there are a group of operators who can sometimes get rather nasty. If you're showing off the hobby to your pastor or a potential new operator, you might want to avoid the embarrassment of the kind of language you shouldn't be hearing on the air. The best bet is to listen around with the headphones first and see what's around before pulling the plug and letting the speaker do its thing.
