I'm playing nancy drew secret of the scarlet hand and I'm seriously stuck!?
I've been this far 4 a whole day but can't get any farther. I've gotten the jade pieces from the pacal, joanna, and using the ham radio. I have started over 4 times and used. 3 different walkthroughs. The problem is that no matter what time of day I try to call sheila, prudence, or henry & poppy, it always says not able to complete call! I haven't been able 2 talk 2 any of them yet. I have found the CCCC business card, the book on prudence and her necklace, and read the plaque to the right of joanna's door. What am I doing wrong. Plz help!
Since my original post of this question, I have started the game over again. This time I got my husband to read the walkthrough outloud to me. I followed step by step and STILL can't get any further than the first 4 times I played it. So then I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I don't have a clue what I thought this would do 2 help, but whatever I thought I was wrong. Still nothing. Plz tell me where I'm going wrong.
...I have no idea on where exactly you are in the game so I can't give you an EXACT step by step, but the 'walk through' I used was the UHS hint file by the same name.
It's really easy to use, just go to the link below, download a reader (or read the hints online, up to you, I just prefer the offline ease of the reader), and find where you are...then follow the hints/steps.
I beat the game the first go-round with these hints...though I really should stop doing that *grins*
UHS *is* a pay-for program to get the complete hints (though, they have a 60 day trial version if I remember rightly).
