Kenwood ham radio question?
I was using my kenwood ts-850sat radio and adjusted the RF gain knob (nothing else) and it started squealing. the sound slowly inflects from low to high and back down to low like a continuous wave. It is prevalent in all modes of operation and every single frequency/band and i dont know what is causing it, now my RF gain knob doesnt work and theres no way to shut off the squeal... help!
That sounds (from what little info you gave) like a heterodyne squeal...it appears the RF gain control is stuck on maximum.
