I have a First Amendment question?
I was wondering why when I post a question in Yahoo Answers it gets deleted after a couple of days? I would understand 110% if the question was offensive, derogatory, racist, against America or our government, or if the question was a solicitation for any illegal activities. I would also understand if the question hurt anyone in anyway shape or form. But as a hard working American & Ham Radio guy who loves to work on a model car or two, the question that got deleted simply was asking if I could get some resin casted parts for my MPC monster truck model if they exist anywhere. Google mpc dodge m880 and you'll see what I asked. The 1st one at the top of the page and cached. Thanks everyone. Randy W. KB9TKB
Your question has absolutely nothing to do with the First Amendment. The First Amendment protects you against the national government or your state and local governments from taking your free speech, free press, and other liberties from you. The First Amendment does not limit the authority of natural or artificial persons.
When you use Yahoo or other private service providers, you have agreed to certain conditions. Among those are that Yahoo may determine some content to violate those conditions. Yahoo may delete that content.
Using Yahoo!Answers as a solicitation resource violates the terms of use.
