Is this a good Surge protector ?
How good is the Acoustic Research AR805TC power conditioner/surge suppressor? Cant find any info on it other than made by Thomson electronics. All the tech specs look good. 330v clamping, 3000 joules, 3 line protection, response time <1ns, EMI & RFI filters. I will be using this on my LCD & Suround Sound. Price $39.99 @ Best Buy. Thanks Edal.
You'd be better off using a battery backup. It provides all the surge suppression while eliminating damage from brown outs and flickers.
