How to connect F59 connector "crimp-on" with rings to normal cable cord. We don't have a special tool for it.
We moved into a new apartment, and want our television on the opposite end of the apartment to where the cable plug is. We weren't able to find a precut and made cable cord, so we bought one, and they told us to get the F59 connector "crimp-on" with rings. We got it home, and a friend said he'd put the connectors on for us, but when he saw that it was crimp on, he said it needed a special tool. Is there a way we can do this with regular tools like pliers or such? It is just a normal cable cord, for regular cable. Not for digital cable, or anything like that. Any help you can give us would be MUCH appreciated! 
You can try to use pliers, but it won't work well. The actual tool is pretty inexpensive and widely available at most electronics stores (like Radio Shack), and many home improvement stores (like Lowes and Home Depot). They should also have the F connectors (you may go through a few before you get the hang of crimping them). They may also have premade cables.
