How much power will these four speakers get?
Ok so I made the mistake of not checking the size of the mounting area in my car so i purchase 2 different speakers for the front so I will have a coaxial in the front and component speakers in the back. Image Dynamics CTX57(75 rms) will be going up front and Image Dynamics CTX65CS(100 rms) will be going in the back. The amp that i have powering them is Cadence TXA-3002( 2 Ohm RMS Power: 2 x 300 Watts). So how much power will each speaker be getting?
the amp has 150watts RMS x 2 @ 4 Ohm so just divide that
each speaker is getting about 75watts RMS
