Kenwood Sirius ready Car Radio Question??? Please Help.?
I have a Kenwood in dash satellite ready radio that I purchased in Feb. Everything on the radio works fine except the satellite radio just quit working a week ago. It just says "Acquiring Signal". I know the antenna is not the problem b/c hooked up to a portable system, it works just fine. I have both a Sirius Car Tuner (Model SCC1) and a Sirius Kenwood Radio Translator installed. My question is which one is bad and needs to be replaced.? I dont want to go buy the wrong component.
most of the time when this happens your antenna lead has been disconnected. but sense your saying it is. your sirius radio could be over running your regalar connection to satellite.
or you can bypass your portable system and connect your antenna directly to the head unit and it should work.
