Does a WiFi adapter allow me to automatically access wireless internet?
or does my computer have to have something in it for the adapter to work?
I want to be able to use my laptop in a coffee shop or a place with wifi... would that work?
Windows has the software to connect to wifi built in, nothing else needed once the card is installed. Also, the card will come with software that can also connect for you, if you don't want to use windows to connect.
